Schoolyard Breaks Gildan Alternate Logo T-Shirt
Schoolyard Breaks is a series of compilation records first released in 2004 compiled by DJ Danny Dan The Beat Mann. The compilations contain the original, extremely rare breaks used by deejays like Jazzy Jay, Kool Herc, Grandmaster Flash and other original Hip Hop deejays. These were the sounds you could hear in the parks and school yards during the 1970's and 1980's and are considered the foundation of Hip Hop and MCing. MCs would rap over these beats while deejays would cut up the break section of the song. The songs contain so much Hip Hop history that you must listen carefully.
